La sua musica per il lungometraggio Nel paese dei santi e dei peccatori<\/em> (diretto da Robert Lorenz, con Liam Neeson) \u00e8 un omaggio all'Irlanda, alla musica western e all'orchestrazione romantica. Gioca con i codici tipici di un western e incorpora strumenti tradizionali irlandesi. Un'orchestra sinfonica e un coro creano una misteriosa atmosfera anni '70. Un elemento importante e riconoscibile \u00e8 l'armonica, suonata da \"Pfuri\" Baldenweg.<\/p>\n

Il film \u00e8 stato presentato in anteprima mondiale a Venezia lo scorso autunno. All'inizio dell'anno, i fratelli sono stati nominati per la categoria \"Score of the Year\" ai Movie Music UK Awards. Ai World Soundtrack Awards, considerati il \"fratello minore degli Oscar\", la musica \u00e8 ora nominata nell'ambita categoria \"Scoperta dell'anno\" e nella categoria \"Scelta del pubblico\", insieme a concorrenti come Hans Zimmer (Dune 2<\/em>), Anthony Willis (Saltburn<\/em>) e Jerskin Fendrix (Povere cose<\/em>), nominato.<\/p>\n

Il comitato consultivo della World Soundtrack Academy, composto da importanti agenti di musica da film, pubblicisti e dirigenti di studio internazionali, seleziona ogni anno cinque compositori come \"Scoperta dell'anno\". I Baldenweg sono stati i primi compositori svizzeri a partecipare a questa selezione.<\/p>\n

La selezione delle migliori colonne sonore per la categoria \"Public Choice\" \u00e8 co-determinata dall'International Film Music Critics Association (IFMCA), votata a livello globale dai fan e dagli amanti della musica da film. Anche loro sono entrati nella rosa dei cinque nominati.<\/p>\n

Il film \u00e8 stato presentato al Festival di Zurigo nel 2023 ed \u00e8 disponibile su varie piattaforme di streaming. Le musiche del film sono state pubblicate in digitale nell'aprile 2024 (Sony Music Masterworks). Il CD fisico uscir\u00e0 il 1\u00b0 ottobre (Caldera Records).<\/p>\n
