Ma cosa succede nell'altro Paese? In altre parole, dove i rifugiati sono tagliati fuori dalla loro cultura? E nei casi ancora peggiori, dove non sono i benvenuti?<\/p>\n<p>Si tratta di questioni di politica culturale estremamente importanti che <em>Musica e migrazione<\/em> viene trattato. La musica \u00e8 sempre stata un fattore di definizione dell'identit\u00e0. Non sorprende quindi che i migranti o i rifugiati continuino ad ascoltare e a coltivare la musica della loro terra d'origine, che si tratti di canzoni popolari, di rap nella loro lingua o di melodie pentatoniche della loro area culturale. Leggendo i saggi di questa ampia antologia, ci si rende conto di un'altra cosa: la musica allevia la sofferenza e aiuta anche ad affrontare i traumi. A pagina 215, Anna Papaeti e M. J. Grant raccontano di un rifugiato siriano. Quando arriva in barca in Grecia, canta \"un misto di lamento e preghiera\", rivolto al mare, che \"possa smettere di uccidere bambini tra le sue onde\".<\/p>\n<p>Situazioni cos\u00ec drastiche sono solo <em>a<\/em> Aspetto del tema molto complesso <em>Musica e migrazione<\/em>. Inoltre, ci sono le questioni e i problemi della \"societ\u00e0 multiculturale\", gli aspetti dell'appropriazione culturale, compreso il campo attualmente sconosciuto del postcolonialismo. I curatori della densa antologia di 746 pagine hanno fatto bene a spiegare i \"termini chiave\" in stile lessico, non solo \"postcolonialismo\", ma anche molti termini presi in prestito dall'etnologia o dalla sociologia, come \"agency\", \"embodiment\" o \"liminality\". Il campo di ricerca si basa fondamentalmente sulla collaborazione interdisciplinare e tende quindi a collocarsi pi\u00f9 nell'ambito degli studi culturali che in quello pi\u00f9 solido della musicologia. Questo rende il libro a tratti difficile da leggere. Da un lato, a causa di problemi difficili da afferrare e, dall'altro, a causa di metodi di ricerca appena consolidati.<\/p>\n<p>Ciononostante, c'\u00e8 molto da togliere dopo la lettura. Tra le altre cose, la consapevolezza che i processi di acculturazione musicale, cio\u00e8 la compenetrazione di culture diverse, sono del tutto normali. I concetti di \"proprio\" e \"straniero\" sono solo costruzioni ausiliarie - e questo smaschera anche i patrioti, i nazionalisti e gli europei talvolta troppo sicuri di s\u00e9, i cui appelli a una \"cultura dominante\" o a una \"purezza\" culturale sono nel migliore dei casi abbreviazioni senza senso. Come scrivono Katarzyna Grebosz-Haring e Magnus Gaul a pagina 25? Platone aveva gi\u00e0 discusso il fenomeno dell'acculturazione.
