Al contrario: \u00e8 affascinante tracciare la differenza tra i due stili. Non \u00e8 facile da definire, perch\u00e9 i luoghi comuni, come parigino qui e viennese l\u00e0, non reggono affatto.<\/p>\n<p>\u0116mile Waldteufel-L\u00e9vy proveniva da una famiglia ebraica di musicisti di Strasburgo, trasferitasi a Parigi dopo la sua nascita, dove \u0116mile studi\u00f2 musica e divenne ben presto un direttore d'orchestra da ballo e compositore di successo. Il suo valzer <em>Manolo<\/em> ispir\u00f2 a tal punto l'allora Principe di Galles e poi Re Edoardo VII che divenne suo mecenate e aiut\u00f2 il compositore a raggiungere una grande fama in Gran Bretagna.<\/p>\n<p>Diversi cicli di valzer di \u0116mile Waldteufel si trovano nella Zentralbibliothek Z\u00fcrich sotto forma di spartiti (ora fuori catalogo), per lo pi\u00f9 sotto forma di arrangiamenti per orchestra da salotto realizzati dall'Henry-Litollf's-Verlag di Braunschweig. Questo arrangiamento del famoso <em>Patineurs <\/em>per violino, violoncello e pianoforte del suonatore di corno, direttore d'orchestra e arrangiatore Simon Scheiwiller di Siebnen SZ \u00e8 pi\u00f9 snello al confronto: la parte del pianoforte \u00e8 meno corposa, i tre strumenti si alternano nella parte principale ed enfatizzano le forme musicali elementari in attraenti miscele sonore. Il movimento in trio di Scheiwiller \u00e8 facile da suonare per tutti e tre gli strumenti a partire dal livello intermedio superiore, ma attenzione: I valzer non sono mai facili da suonare!
