Foto: Archivio Breitkopf &amp; H\u00e4rtel<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Hans G\u00e1l (1890-1987) \u00e8 stato un uomo importante come direttore dell'Accademia di Musica di Magonza e con le sue composizioni (opere, una sinfonia, canzoni, musica da camera), che venivano eseguite ovunque. Tuttavia, quando Hitler sal\u00ec al potere, gli fu vietato di lavorare come ebreo in Germania e fugg\u00ec a Vienna, poi a Edimburgo quando l'Austria fu annessa nel 1938, dove lavor\u00f2 come docente di musica fino alla morte. La sua musica tonale, orientata verso Brahms, cadde nell'oblio come \"anacronistica\".<\/p>\n<p>Il suo incantevole concerto per violino, composto nel 1932 e pubblicato da Breitkopf, fu eseguito per la prima volta a Dresda nel febbraio 1933 con Georg Kulenkampff diretto da Fritz Busch. G\u00e1l aggiunse al concerto tre cadenze, tutte disponibili anche nella riduzione per pianoforte. La parte solistica \u00e8 strettamente intrecciata con le parti orchestrali in uno stile cameristico e la musica \u00e8 ricca di idee melodiche e armoniche. Il concerto non \u00e8 stato pi\u00f9 eseguito fino al 2005. La nuova meticolosa edizione del 2023 confronta tutte le fonti esistenti e corregge le piccole discrepanze, come spiegato nel commento critico.
