Si tratta di un ciclo di dodici brevi pezzi che furono composti indipendentemente l'uno dall'altro alla fine degli anni Trenta. Erich Schmid li riassunse sotto questo titolo nel 1941 come Opus 13. La prima dell'opera <em>Piccolo concerto in casa <\/em>il 25 giugno 1959 a Radio Berom\u00fcnster. Un'altra esibizione ha avuto luogo a Zurigo nel 1985, in occasione del cinquantesimo anniversario di Pro Musica. Si tratta del capitolo zurighese dell'IGNM, di cui Erich Schmid \u00e8 stato presidente negli anni Sessanta.<\/p>\n<h3>Condurre invece di comporre<\/h3>\n<p>I successi di questo pioniere della musica svizzera sono molti e vari! Come direttore d'orchestra, ha guidato l'Orchestra della Tonhalle di Zurigo (1949-1956) e l'Orchestra della Radio di Berom\u00fcnster (1956-1970), nonch\u00e9 il Coro misto di Zurigo (1954-1975) e il Coro maschile di Zurigo (1961-1964). Molte opere svizzere contemporanee furono eseguite in prima assoluta sotto la sua direzione. La sua attivit\u00e0 di compositore pass\u00f2 sempre pi\u00f9 in secondo piano. Erich Schmid fu allievo di Arnold Sch\u00f6nberg a Berlino, un corso di studi che si concluse prematuramente nel 1933 per motivi politici. Schmid si trasfer\u00ec inizialmente a Glarona, dove fu direttore musicale di due cori e dell'Harmoniemusik. Tramite Werner Reinhart, \u00e8 stato pi\u00f9 volte ospite del Musikkollegium Winterthur, con esecuzioni di opere della Nuova Scuola Viennese.<\/p>\n<h3>Insieme o individualmente<\/h3>\n<p>Torna a questo <em>Piccolo concerto in casa<\/em>I brani sono scritti in dodecafonia o in tecniche affini. La musica \u00e8 delicata e intima, l'ordine criptico delle note pu\u00f2 essere solo ipotizzato. Gli esecutori non sono spinti ai loro limiti tecnici; tutto ci\u00f2 che \u00e8 richiesto \u00e8 l'esperienza nel suonare in ensemble non tonali. Data la loro genesi, questi brani aforistici possono essere eseguiti anche separatamente in un contesto di programma diverso, ad esempio come \"sorbetto\" tra opere pi\u00f9 grandi di qualsiasi periodo. Il numero VIII per violino e pianoforte \u00e8 particolarmente bello!<\/p>\n<p>La prima edizione pubblicata da Boosey &amp; Hawkes\/Bote &amp; Bock contiene una relazione critica e molte informazioni sull'opera e sul compositore, oltre alle file dodecafoniche dei pezzi dodecafonici.<\/p>\n<p>\u00c8 possibile ascoltare il <em>Piccolo concerto in casa<\/em> nella registrazione del 1959 nell'archivio della Radio Svizzera SRG SSR su <a href=\"https:\/\/neo.mx3.ch\/t\/1gmg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Neo.Mx3<\/a>.
