Foto: Betina Kuntzsch<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Un mostro lampeggiante con denti blu nella quiete della sera: cos\u00ec si presenta il vecchio crematorio tra gli alberi del cimitero di Sihlfeld. Un luogo strano per un concerto, ma l'edificio \u00e8 stato a lungo utilizzato solo come camera ardente e per eventi culturali. Ciononostante, ha un'atmosfera riverente e inquietante. Cos\u00ec poteva essere un tempo quando la famiglia Asburgo si recava nella Cappella della Hofburg il Venerd\u00ec Santo per ascoltare un oratorio sul Santo Sepolcro dell'imperatore Leopoldo I. Come nell'Azione Sacra, anche questa volta si trattava, se non di una redenzione del mondo, almeno di un nuovo inizio, di una \"falla nel tempo\", il \"vuoto\" di cui parla il titolo dell'opera. Qualcuno sta cercando di sfuggire a un presente inquietante?<\/p>\n<h3>Sogno e meraviglia<\/h3>\n<p>All'inizio di settembre, l'\"installazione-performance\" di Katharina Rosenberger \u00e8 stata presentata per la prima volta a La B\u00e2tie di Ginevra; la prima di Zurigo ha avuto luogo il 28 e 29 settembre - molto opportunamente - a Sihlfeld. La scelta di questo luogo, dove si realizza il Mercoled\u00ec delle Ceneri, \u00e8 una provocazione silenziosa, anche se rispettosa. Entriamo nell'edificio attraverso l'ingresso principale. Nella sala centrale, denominata Salle d'\u00e9criture, si ascolta un morbido prologo musicale. L'introduzione \u00e8 accompagnata da testi di Franz Kafka e Hannah Arendt. Il \"Lui\" di Kafka \u00e8 assediato da due forze, una che lo spinge in avanti dalla fonte, l'altra che lo trattiene. A un certo punto - secondo il suo sogno - dovr\u00e0 elevarsi al di sopra dei suoi avversari. La visione di Arendt, invece, parla di \"miracoli\" nella sfera politica e di speranza nell'essere umano che agisce. Potete anche rispondere a domande su fogli di carta: Quale esperienza vorresti portare con te in un'altra galassia? Perch\u00e9 un nuovo inizio \u00e8 cos\u00ec difficile?<\/p>\n<h3>Gap splendidamente attrezzato<\/h3>\n<p>Si aprono poi tre grandi sale laterali. A sinistra c'\u00e8 la sala \"Transience\" con una grande struttura animale primordiale, le cui percussioni metalliche sono animate da Brian Archinal. A destra c'\u00e8 l'\"Archivio\", pieno di oggetti in disuso, un antico gabinetto di curiosit\u00e0; si possono ascoltare dischi in vinile su giradischi. Foto: Betina Kuntzsch<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Queste stanze, splendidamente progettate e sature di colore, quasi barocche, vengono esplorate dal pubblico. \u00c8 impressionante ci\u00f2 che il compositore ha messo insieme con il regista Matthias Rebstock e un collettivo multimediale dedicato: un vero lavoro di squadra. L'Ensemble Contrechamps di Ginevra e il Collegium Novum di Zurigo hanno ancora una volta unito le forze con successo, e questo riflette anche la biografia del compositore. Il compositore zurighese, co-direttore del festival Sonic Matter, insegna composizione alla Haute \u00e9cole de musique di Ginevra.<\/p>\n<h3>Costruzione difficilmente redimibile<\/h3>\n<p>Tuttavia, ci si chiede dove possano risiedere le connessioni tra tutte queste impressioni e si spera nell'atto finale, quando tutti si sono riuniti nuovamente nella Salle d'\u00e9criture. L\u00ec si sente una musica espansiva, simile a un drone, piena di pathos interiore, melodiosa eppure pervasiva. \u00c8 questo il \"varco\", il \"portale segreto per altri mondi\", \u00e8 questo il \"nuovo inizio\"? Il punto cruciale di queste produzioni di teatro musicale installativo e post-drammatico \u00e8 che spesso mancano di coerenza e inevitabilit\u00e0. La fine e il nuovo inizio non emergono coerentemente dalle quattro stanze. Si estende un costrutto testuale-musicale-scenico che sembra sovraccarico e la cui ricerca alla fine non porta da nessuna parte. Anche dal punto di vista estetico ci troviamo in una situazione di stallo: che senso di comunit\u00e0 richiede questo nuovo inizio? Quanto dovrebbe essere bello per non puzzare immediatamente di New Age? Si esce dall'edificio con molte domande senza risposta. Ma certamente anche: \u00e8 qualcosa di profondamente umano credere nei miracoli, la speranza muore per sempre.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/the-gap.space\/\" target=\"_blank\"
