Foto: zVg<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Gli accordi che si susseguono con tanta regolarit\u00e0 sembrano familiari eppure non lo sono, soprattutto nella loro sequenza. Passano attraverso i minuti, cambiando costantemente, a volte di pi\u00f9, a volte di meno, ma non per compiacere le sfumature. A volte i suoni si bloccano nel tempo, altre volte ci sorprendono con colpi di scena, poi tornano a essere costanti; il serpeggiare e il progredire non sono pi\u00f9 opposti. Eccetera. Qualcosa di simile si potrebbe dire di molti brani del compositore di Aarau J\u00fcrg Frey, come il secondo album di musica per pianoforte registrato dal pianista olandese Reinier van Houdt (<em>Compositore, da solo<\/em>; Elsewhere Music, 3 CD).<\/p>\n<p>Ma la voce umana aggiunge una qualit\u00e0 diversa: qualcosa di caldo, leggermente instabile e pi\u00f9 vivace. Il brillante ensemble vocale londinese Exaudi, fondato nel 2002 e specializzato in nuova musica, ha ora registrato sei opere di Frey. La maggior parte di esse risale all'ultimo decennio e tuttavia, nonostante la loro uniformit\u00e0 stilistica, mostrano una certa diversit\u00e0. Per esempio nella scelta dei testi, che vanno da una sua poesia a poesie dell'Estremo Oriente e a Emily Dickinson. Il colore armonico e vocale cambia in ogni brano. Alcuni movimenti sono luminosi come il giorno, altri sono ombreggiati, persino con una certa penombra. A volte si tratta di suoni che penetrano solo debolmente nell'orecchio, ma che l\u00ec dispiegano il loro dolce splendore. Un minimo di enfasi, che si presenta raramente, ha gi\u00e0 un grande effetto. S\u00ec, a volte si avverte anche una certa spiritualit\u00e0, come una focalizzazione su un punto esterno.
