Cos\u00ec ha detto una volta la pianista canadese Angela Hewitt. Il fatto che i professionisti possano suonare a memoria per ore e ore, di solito senza commettere errori, \u00e8 praticamente un miracolo. In effetti, la nostra memoria cerebrale \u00e8 tanto affascinante quanto quasi impossibile da penetrare. Al di l\u00e0 dell'interazione estremamente complessa e ancora poco studiata di centinaia di trilioni di sinapsi, questo vale anche per il tema \"musica e memoria\". Sebbene sia immediatamente evidente, \u00e8 ancora difficile da afferrare.<\/p>\n<p><em>Musica e memoria<\/em> di Melanie Unseld \u00e8 un libro di studio. La professoressa, che insegna a Vienna, si propone di fornire una panoramica delle prospettive musicologiche su un tema che \u00e8 stato promosso in modo significativo dagli studi culturali, ad esempio dal libro di Jan Assmann <em>La memoria culturale<\/em>. Le identit\u00e0 giocano quindi un ruolo, ad esempio, quando l'ancoraggio inconsapevole <em>Marsigliese<\/em> o altri inni creano consapevolezza a livello nazionale. Perch\u00e9 hanno prevalso questi o quei compositori e molto meno le compositrici? Unseld tocca naturalmente anche la conservazione dei monumenti e la politica con queste domande. Cita, ad esempio, il divieto temporaneo di <em>Marsigliese<\/em>che, a causa del suo potenziale rivoluzionario, doveva scomparire dalla memoria per un certo periodo, proprio come alcune opere di compositori russi che furono bandite sotto Joseph Stalin.<\/p>\n<p>Non \u00e8 sempre facile seguire Unseld. Cambia prospettiva nei minimi dettagli. Dal ruolo assolutamente importante della musica negli anni formativi dell'adolescenza, passa alla didattica della musica, alla ricerca sulla demenza o alla falsificazione della memoria che \u00e8 un luogo comune nelle biografie. Come se non bastasse, i ricordi giocano un ruolo anche nell'estetica della composizione. I compositori ricordano i predecessori citandoli. E: la forma sonata, i movimenti di variazione, i versi e i ritornelli rendono evidente che la musica gioca quasi sempre sulla tastiera della memoria. Unseld riassume questo particolare approccio ristretto scrivendo dell'esperienza del tempo: \"La musica pu\u00f2 trattare il tempo in tre modi. Pu\u00f2 costruire il tempo (attraverso i ritmi o l'andamento della forma, attraverso la composizione), immaginare il tempo (per esempio con la prassi esecutiva storica o la storiografia musicale) e rendere il tempo percepibile (per esempio attraverso la correlazione con il battito cardiaco o quando il tempo passa mentre ci si esercita o si assiste a un concerto)\".<\/p>\n<p>Per il momento, \u00e8 impossibile prevedere dove porter\u00e0 questo complesso campo di ricerca. \u00c8 bello che il libro di Unseld, ottimamente curato, porti dal freddo formalismo a un approccio alla musica incentrato sull'uomo. Alla fine, per\u00f2, non si pu\u00f2 ignorare che la memoria \u00e8 (finora) difficile da afferrare e spesso \u00e8 molto diversa da persona a persona. In questo senso, la musica ha a sua volta a che fare con la memoria, perch\u00e9 entrambi gli ambiti sembrano un budino che non pu\u00f2 essere inchiodato al muro.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\"
