Fotogramma<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Ci sono film che si vedono. E ci sono film che si ascoltano. L'ultimo lavoro di Anka Schmid <em>Melodia<\/em> appartiene chiaramente alla seconda categoria. Si potrebbe anche definire \u00abuna colonna sonora con un'immagine\u00bb. Proiettato per la prima volta nella categoria Sounds al Festival di Zurigo il 28 settembre 2025 e regolarmente distribuito nelle sale dal marzo 2026, \u00e8 molto pi\u00f9 di un documentario musicale: \u00e8 un mosaico poetico su come il canto possa diventare un'ancora di salvezza, un rituale, una resistenza, un conforto e un'appartenenza.<\/p>\n<p>I protagonisti sono diversi come le loro voci. C'\u00e8 la donna nera Joanna Kora, che trasforma in canto le sue esperienze nel movimento Black Lives Matter e, come insegnante di musica e cantante del coro Go and Sing, ispira speranza ed entusiasmo a ogni nota. La casara dell'Appenzello che protegge non solo le sue mucche, ma anche se stessa, notte dopo notte con la benedizione delle Alpi. L'hip-hopper ticinese, combattuta tra la rabbia per la mancanza di sostegno alla cultura giovanile alternativa e le sue profonde radici nella sua terra d'origine. Il curdo, a cui sette anni di prigione non hanno tolto la voce e che ora canta canzoni alla sua giovane figlia in Svizzera affinch\u00e9 lei, curda senza patria, non resti senza cultura. E l'ultima cantante morta su un'isola greca che, dopo la perdita del marito, trova sostegno e scopo nella vita solo attraverso il lamento - e si pone l'angosciante domanda: Chi canter\u00e0 il suo lamento quando lei stessa non ci sar\u00e0 pi\u00f9?<\/p>\n<h3>Il canto \u00e8 pi\u00f9 che un suono<\/h3>\n<p>Schmid racconta queste storie senza pathos, trasportato dalla musica e dai volti dei cantanti. La macchina da presa cattura la luminosit\u00e0, la stanchezza, la passione. Ma il vero fulcro \u00e8 la colonna sonora. L'ingegnere del suono Reto Stamm fa ampiamente a meno della distorsione elettronica, trasmettendo le voci pure, non distorte, in tutta la loro fisicit\u00e0. Si sentono le pause del respiro, gli attriti, le imperfezioni, ed \u00e8 proprio questo che rende il film cos\u00ec reale.<\/p>\n<p>Alla fine, quando le giovani donne dello sciopero femminile riempiono la piazza cantando e suonando il tamburo, il cerchio si chiude: il canto \u00e8 pi\u00f9 di un semplice suono. Supera i confini e avvicina gli estranei pi\u00f9 di qualsiasi discussione. Il film di Schmid dimostra che possiamo incontrarci nella felicit\u00e0 del canto, indipendentemente dall'origine, dalla lingua o dal colore della pelle.
