Al festival non vogliamo dividere le diverse culture, ma piuttosto unirle attraverso la musica. Gerusalemme \u00e8 una citt\u00e0 che ci unisce come societ\u00e0\", afferma Michal Lewkowicz, fondatore e direttore artistico del festival di musica da camera Mizmorim di Basilea. Quasi tutti i concerti, le letture e le visite guidate della dodicesima edizione, che si \u00e8 svolta all'insegna del motto \"Gerusalemme\", hanno registrato il tutto esaurito. Artisti ed ensemble rinomati come il Quartetto Gringolts, il clarinettista Reto Bieri e il flautista Ariel Zuckermann hanno fornito l'eccellenza musicale. Lukas Landmann ha illustrato i 5.500 anni di storia della citt\u00e0, conquistata 34 volte, al Museo Ebraico della Svizzera. Heidy Zimmermann ha mostrato la composizione inedita creata nel 1967 alla Fondazione Paul Sacher. <em>Gerusalemme<\/em> per cantante solista, narratore, due cori e orchestra di Roman Haubenstock-Ramati. L'ensemble vocale Voces Suaves ha dedicato il suo programma a \u00abWenn ich Dein vergesse...\u00bb a salmi dal Rinascimento ai giorni nostri, che l'oudista israelo-palestinese Taiseer Elias ha accostato a melodie arabe nei suoi assoli. Il concerto di apertura \u00abThe Ties that Bind us\u00bb di David Krakauer (clarinetto) e Kathleen Tagg (pianoforte) presentava gi\u00e0 echi di jazz e klezmer con <em>22 novembre<\/em> un'opera del compositore siriano Kinan Azmeh.<\/p>\n<h3>Da Bach a Feldman<\/h3>\n<p>Il concerto \u00abYerushalayim shel zahav\u00bb presso lo Studio SRF di Basilea ha combinato la musica occidentale di Johann Sebastian e Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach con sette canzoni di Gerusalemme molto diverse tra loro, cantate in modo espressivo da Hila Baggio, che hanno mostrato l'ampiezza dell'ebraismo e della sua musica: dai sefarditi ai chassidici, dallo yiddish allo yemenita. Marcelo Nisinman ha scritto arrangiamenti emozionanti per flauto (Ariel Zuckermann), violino (Ilya Gringolts), clavicembalo (Francesco Corti) e lui stesso al bandoneon, che danno a ciascuno dei brani il proprio colore.<\/p>\n<p><em>Yerushalayim shel zahav<\/em> in tempo triplo lento, che \u00e8 diventato noto a livello internazionale grazie alla cantante israeliana Ofra Haza, perde pathos nella versione di Nisinman e guadagna in complessit\u00e0. Il suo <em>Il muro del silenzio<\/em> Il ritratto della citt\u00e0 commissionato dal festival \u00e8 sorprendentemente mondano e suona come tango e gioia di vivere. Foto: Mizmorim\/Liron Erel<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Due concerti sono stati dedicati al compositore ebreo-americano Morton Feldman, che avrebbe compiuto 100 anni il 12 gennaio. Nell'appuntamento notturno, la mezz'ora <em>Perch\u00e9 i modelli?<\/em> per flauto, glockenspiel e pianoforte (1978). I toni profondi del flauto (Anja Clift) incontrano i suoni alti e caldi del pianoforte (Dmitry Batalov). Christian Dierstein si unisce alle linee del glockenspiel. \u00c8 una musica molto tenera e intima che fa fermare il tempo e trasforma semplici cambi di tono in eventi. Il concerto di chiusura \u00abJerusalem Syndrome\u00bb con il Mizmorim Festival Ensemble, che presentava alcune prime svizzere, ha attraversato un arco di tempo nell'Ackermannshof che va dal compositore ebreo Stefan Wolpe (1902-1972), fuggito dalla Germania nazista per raggiungere gli Stati Uniti, al palestinese israeliano Samir Odeh-Tamimi, che vive in Germania e il cui trio <em>Li-Umm-K\u00e1mel<\/em> combina la musica araba con le tradizioni compositive europee.
