I fascicoli contengono lettere e lettere di candidatura di studenti di Lipsia e forniscono nuove informazioni sull'organizzazione delle esecuzioni di cantate di Johann Sebastian Bach. Per la prima volta, le fonti dimostrano che il Consiglio di Lipsia sosteneva specificamente gli studenti cantanti e strumentisti con borse di studio: \u00bbLa musica sacra di Lipsia non si basava solo sull'eccellenza artistica, ma su una struttura di finanziamento comunale funzionante\u00ab, afferma il musicologo Bernd Koska.<\/p>\n

Un reperto eccezionale \u00e8 una lettera finora sconosciuta di Johann Sebastian Bach del 1740 per il suo basso preferito Gottlob Friedrich T\u00fcrsch. Inoltre, sono state rinvenute la pi\u00f9 antica lettera di richiesta di Georg Philipp Telemann e una referenza di Johann Christoph Gottsched per Johann Friedrich Doles.<\/p>\n

I ritrovamenti sono stati effettuati da Bernd Koska, membro del team del progetto, nell'ambito del progetto di ricerca \u00bbBACH Research Portal\u00ab dell'Accademia sassone delle scienze di Lipsia, con sede presso l'Archivio Bach di Lipsia. L'Archivio della citt\u00e0 di Lipsia presenta i reperti in una mostra speciale fino al 23 aprile.<\/p>\n
