Il compositore descrive i pezzi come \"piccoli orologi che richiedono la massima precisione, ma sono anche giocosi e umoristici\" e nota anche nella prefazione che si tratta di \"idee e contrasti semplici che si sviluppano sempre pi\u00f9 in strutture piuttosto confuse, salendo cromaticamente da un pezzo all'altro dalla nota iniziale B a Bb, dove l'epilogo, come il vero e proprio 13\u00b0 minuto, deve iniziare di nuovo da B\".<\/p>\n<p>Le miniature si muovono attraverso le note ascendenti di apertura e hanno un carattere molto diverso. Inoltre, la loro durata complessiva varia da 25 secondi a 2:30 minuti. Feldmann utilizza un'ampia tavolozza di tonalit\u00e0 e contenuti espressivi: \"Espressivo\" inizia la raccolta con la prima serie di minuti, che ha una bella apertura. La seconda scorre agilmente in terzine e trilli. Nella terza serie di minuti, intitolata \"Bed\u00e4chtig\", dall'unisono in do diesis si sviluppano colori tonali elegiaci che si aprono a ventaglio e ritornano al tono iniziale, mentre la quarta, \"Sehr rasch\", \u00e8 molto vivace. Nella quinta, il compositore utilizza per la prima volta con grande effetto i toni \"eolici\": solo aria senza suono. Come il terzo, il lungo sesto minuto si sviluppa a partire da una nota reclinata e si mantiene in gran parte nella gamma del pianoforte. Al contrario, il successivo \"Scharf herausfahrenend\" inizia con accenti. Nell'ottava, Feldmann mescola efficacemente voci con toni normali senza vibrato e voci con un suono arioso. Anche le terzine vaganti e gli accordi tamponati in modo selettivo forniscono variet\u00e0 negli ultimi minuti. La dodicesima termina in modo fluido e senza vibrato.<\/p>\n<p>La raccolta \u00e8 molto ricca di sfumature; \u00e8 anche possibile suonare solo i singoli movimenti, poich\u00e9 questi variano in difficolt\u00e0 da facili a molto impegnativi.
