Tuttavia, questa uscita rende possibile anche la pubblicazione di nuove edizioni corrette delle partiture, che di solito vengono pubblicizzate come \"Urtext\", tenendo conto di tutte le fonti disponibili. Questo \u00e8 anche il caso della meditazione di Suk sul secolare corale di San Venceslao, di grande importanza storico-musicale.<br \/>\nCon 85 battute, un tempo di esecuzione di ca. 7-8 minuti e la sua forma devotamente sublime, rappresenta una gradita aggiunta al repertorio sia nella versione originale per quartetto d'archi che in quella per orchestra d'archi, scritta solo un po' pi\u00f9 tardi, ma richiede anche una categorizzazione esplicativa - dopo tutto, il movimento con tutte le implicazioni storiche della melodia era inteso nel 1914 come un'aggiunta (se non una confutazione) nazionale ceca all'inno imperiale, che era obbligatorio in tutta la Slovacchia dallo scoppio della guerra e con il quale ogni concerto doveva aprirsi.
