Estratto dalla copertina del libro<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Come ci si pu\u00f2 avvicinare a una tale abbondanza? Ebbene, l'opera di Michael Wertm\u00fcller, percussionista e compositore il cui catalogo di opere rivela un'urgenza creativa quasi maniacale, le cui partiture sono difficilmente superabili in termini di opulenza e densit\u00e0 e che, per di pi\u00f9, si muove tra vari generi come il jazz, la nuova musica, compresa l'opera, la musica da camera o orchestrale e, infine, il rock, per lo pi\u00f9 di tipo pi\u00f9 duro.<\/p>\n<p>Ci provano i 14 autori del volume speciale Michael Wertm\u00fcller, riccamente illustrato con partiture e fotografie. Uno dei punti focali \u00e8 l'opera lirica e il teatro musicale, sorprendentemente vasti. Nel suo testo, Thomas Meyer si occupa di <em>Fermatevi,<\/em> che ha debuttato a Lucerna nel 2013. Descrive vividamente la genesi dell'opera a sfondo politico e descrive in dettaglio come si sono incontrati i testi dello scrittore svizzero radicale Lukas B\u00e4rfuss e la musica non meno radicale di Wertm\u00fcller. Nel suo contributo sull\u00ab\u00bbopera sperimentale\" <em>D-I-E<\/em> Barbara Eckle spiega, tra l'altro, il concetto che va oltre ogni cornice tradizionale. Un quartetto d'archi classico, una rapper donna, una band garage-hardcore punk, un percussionista classico e, ultimo ma non meno importante, il noto trio jazz Steamboat Switzerland, con cui la Wertm\u00fcller collabora da decenni, vengono utilizzati per ottenere un effetto talvolta assordante. Gabrielle Weber descrive questa stretta collaborazione, reciprocamente stimolante, con molti estratti di interviste rinfrescanti ai membri della band Dominik Blum, Marino Pliakas e Lucas Niggli.<\/p>\n<div class=\"page\" title=\"Pagina 3\">\n<div class=\"layoutArea\">\n<div class=\"column\">\n<p>Anche la socializzazione musicale di Wertm\u00fcller \u00e8 citata pi\u00f9 volte (e certamente con ripetizione). Cresciuto a Thun, pare abbia suonato instancabilmente la batteria e poi, dopo aver studiato percussioni a Berna e Amsterdam, gli \u00e8 stato offerto un posto nella rinomata Concertgebouw Orchestra. \u00abVedevo il futuro davanti a me, quello che altri<br \/>\n\u00bbLe persone che volevano un posto fisso nell'orchestra erano un orrore per me\".
