L\u00ec, nel pittoresco Pays d'Enhaut, appena arrivato inizi\u00f2 a disegnare e a lavorare alla sua composizione pi\u00f9 ampia e ambiziosa. Forse si trattava anche di una reazione di sfida alla sconfitta subita in precedenza. Con questa Opus 3, Chausson trov\u00f2 se stesso come compositore, ed \u00e8 una fortuna che non si sottomettesse pi\u00f9 alle regole accademiche e non si scoraggiasse per l'iniziale mancanza di riconoscimento. Tuttavia, in seguito mostr\u00f2 il suo trio a C\u00e9sar Franck ed Emanuel Chabrier, lo fece ascoltare al pittore Odilon Redon e ascolt\u00f2 i loro consigli. L'opera fu presentata per la prima volta nell'aprile del 1882 in un concerto organizzato dalla Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 nationale de musique, ma fu pubblicata per la prima volta solo nel 1919, vent'anni dopo la precoce e tragica morte del compositore, dalla casa editrice parigina Rouart-Lerolle.<\/p>\n<p>L'opera di 30 minuti, con i suoi quattro movimenti, \u00e8 sorprendentemente divertente, in contrasto con il pi\u00f9 famoso \"Concerto\" per pianoforte, violino e quartetto d'archi op. 21 di Chausson, che dura 45 minuti. La citazione trasversale dei temi nei movimenti, alla maniera dei leitmotiv del Trio per pianoforte e orchestra op. 3, cos\u00ec come l'armonia, ricordano i modelli di Chausson, C\u00e9sar Franck e Richard Wagner. Tuttavia, il suo linguaggio musicale rimanda anche alla generazione successiva di compositori, soprattutto a Claude Debussy. Ernest Chausson occupa un posto importante nella musica francese!<\/p>\n<p>La nuova edizione Henle di questo trio per pianoforte si basa principalmente sulla prima edizione del 1919, poich\u00e9 non esistono altre fonti. Non esiste pi\u00f9 un autografo, ma solo alcuni schizzi di temi e modelli strutturali. Come sempre, la musica di Henle \u00e8 di facile lettura, pratica nei punti di svolta e contiene persino un dizionario (francese\/tedesco e francese\/inglese) dell'esecuzione originale francese e i segni di tempo in ogni parte. Anche l'indicazione del tempo nel secondo movimento, intitolato \"Vite\" in tempo 3\/8 veloce, \u00e8 estremamente utile: la prima battuta di un'unit\u00e0 di conteggio \u00e8 sempre indicata con un uno. Questo rende le prove molto pi\u00f9 facili! La parte del pianoforte \u00e8 stata fornita con diteggiature da Klaus Schilde, mentre le parti degli archi non contengono indicazioni tecniche.
