Ad uno studio pi\u00f9 attento, questi brani mi si rivelano come affascinanti miniature che, per tutta la loro apparente leggerezza e brevit\u00e0, hanno una grande forza espressiva. Alcuni di essi ampliano lo spettro sonoro attraverso effetti di pedale o la risonanza dei tasti smorzati, e mi vengono in mente altri modelli come Stravinskij, Debussy, Satie o Jan\u00e1\u010dek. Come scrive nella prefazione, Peter Graham \u00e8 convinto che, con la giusta guida, i bambini possano differenziare i suoni e i ritmi in modo molto pi\u00f9 sofisticato di quanto non debbano fare nella letteratura didattica convenzionale. Ecco perch\u00e9 chiama i suoi brani <em>Studi sovversivi.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>La sfida sta nel fatto che noi, come insegnanti, ci mettiamo in mezzo a decifrare e scoprire insieme agli allievi. Battendo le mani, picchiettando e picchiettando e con l'aiuto di sillabe ritmiche indiane (taka, takita, takadimi), si padroneggiano complessi schemi ritmici che vengono trasferiti allo strumento solo quando l'idea \u00e8 giusta.
