Le invenzioni a due e tre parti di Bach fanno parte di ogni lezione su uno strumento a tastiera, come egli stesso scrisse, \"per acquisire un modo cantabile di suonare e anche per avere una forte anticipazione della composizione\". Non c'\u00e8 da stupirsi che Peters-Verlag, dopo anni di guadagni grazie alle edizioni di Carl Czerny (1840) e Ludwig Landshoff (1933) e al facsimile del manoscritto originale (1942), voglia ora condividere nuovamente il successo di mercato di questa musica.<\/p>\n<p>Per Ulrich Bartels, ex dipendente dell'Istituto Bach di Gottinga, \u00e8 stato semplice modificare la relazione critica sull'edizione del 1970 della Nuova Edizione Bach, completata dai suoi colleghi solo nel 2007, e - dopo l'ultimo restauro della fonte originale nel 2003 - rivelare ulteriori tracce del processo di lavorazione all'interno del manoscritto di Bach stesso. Il testo musicale vero e proprio \u00e8 cambiato poco: per la maggior parte segue la disposizione e i dettagli dell'edizione di Bach. Solo l'uso delle accidentali di avvertimento \u00e8 stato ridotto al minimo, e nelle sinfonie a tre parti la trasposizione della voce centrale rende pi\u00f9 facile la lettura della musica.
