Foto: Jean Baptiste Millot<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<div class=\"text-section\">\n<p>Dopo la nuova edizione del primo concerto per pianoforte e orchestra in re minore op. 15 di Johannes Brahms, Paul Badura-Skoda si \u00e8 occupato anche del pi\u00f9 ampio e in effetti molto pi\u00f9 impegnativo secondo concerto, sempre per Edition Peters.<\/p>\n<p>\"L'obiettivo della nuova edizione non \u00e8 solo quello di riprodurre il testo del compositore nel modo pi\u00f9 accurato possibile, ma anche di offrire consigli sull'interpretazione 'corretta', nella misura in cui ci\u00f2 \u00e8 possibile... Inoltre, mi considero probabilmente l'ultimo musicista che pu\u00f2 ancora guardare a una tradizione orale diretta. Questa tradizione si estende da Brahms a me, passando per Eugen d'Albert, Edwin Fischer e Wilhelm Backhaus\", scrive Badura-Skoda nella prefazione, giustamente e non senza vanit\u00e0. Questa linea di antenati potrebbe facilmente essere continuata...<\/p>\n<p>Un importante testimone della discendenza di Brahms fu naturalmente Arthur Rubinstein, che registr\u00f2 il Secondo Concerto per pianoforte e orchestra per la prima volta nel 1929 con la London Symphony Orchestra diretta da Albert Coates. Rubinstein non fu felice di questa collaborazione, ma vale comunque la pena di ascoltare questa registrazione: I tempi sembrano assurdamente veloci alle orecchie di oggi, soprattutto nel primo e nel terzo movimento, eppure corrispondono abbastanza fedelmente alle indicazioni del metronomo del compositore!<\/p>\n<p>Tornando alla nuova edizione di Edition Peters: rispetto alla vecchia edizione, supervisionata da Emil von Sauer, sono da lodare non solo l'accuratezza del testo, i riferimenti e le diteggiature dell'editore, che rivelano il pianista esperto, soprattutto nei passaggi pi\u00f9 difficili. Anche la musica \u00e8 impaginata in modo molto chiaro e di facile lettura. Infine, ma non per questo meno importante, lo spesso libretto (pi\u00f9 di 100 pagine) \u00e8 rilegato con grande maestria. \u00c8 possibile girare facilmente le pagine e il dorso rimane stabile.
