Bernd Frank ha pubblicato per Schott-Verlag una compilation di gospels e spirituals adatti a lezioni di canto con principianti e cantanti amatoriali, ma anche per lavorare con musicisti di scuole o chiese che magari si stanno preparando per un esame di ammissione e vogliono guardare oltre il repertorio classico.<\/p>\n<p>Valuterei il livello di difficolt\u00e0 di questa edizione come facile o medio. Tuttavia, i brani sono adatti anche a situazioni di esecuzione, ad esempio come aggiunta solistica a un programma di cori gospel, in esercitazioni di scuole di musica o come arricchimento del repertorio tradizionale di musica sacra.<\/p>\n<p>Durante il processo di sviluppo, la collezione \u00e8 stata integrata con idee in un workshop da studenti di musica dell'Universit\u00e0 di Musica di Mainz ed \u00e8 stata esaminata per verificarne l'idoneit\u00e0 pratica.<\/p>\n<p>L'edizione offre una variet\u00e0 di opzioni esecutive grazie agli interessanti accompagnamenti al pianoforte: i \"fill-in\" improvvisati possono essere incorporati sia nella parte pianistica che in quella vocale. Molti brani si prestano a essere cantati in duo o come \"call &amp; response\" a due voci.<\/p>\n<p>Diverse strofe possono essere liberamente improvvisate sui \"cambiamenti\" di fondo. Le tecniche vocali specifiche della musica gospel, come il looping delle note, richiedono variet\u00e0 e flessibilit\u00e0 stilistica. I canti gospel sono brani ritmici che permettono anche ai principianti di sviluppare e allenare immediatamente il senso del \"groove\".<\/p>\n<p>La raccolta \u00e8 pubblicata in due edizioni, per voce alta e per voce media o bassa, quest'ultima veramente bassa e la pi\u00f9 alta non veramente alta.
