Diversa \u00e8 la situazione dei 27 concerti per violoncello superstiti, che rappresentano un'opera pionieristica del \"Prete rosso\" in termini di storia della musica. Le numerose edizioni disponibili in commercio non soddisfano ancora le esigenze poste al testo musicale dall'avvento della prassi esecutiva storicamente informata.<\/p>\n<p>L'iniziativa della Edition Walhall di Magdeburgo merita una menzione speciale. Nella loro serie <em>Il Violoncello Concertato <\/em>presenta otto dei pi\u00f9 importanti concerti per violoncello di Vivaldi (compreso il famoso doppio concerto in sol minore) in un'edizione critica. Le edizioni - sei delle quali gi\u00e0 disponibili - possono essere definite esemplari e sono adatte sia all'uso concertistico che didattico. Una prefazione dettagliata e una relazione critica forniscono informazioni interessanti su ogni opera. Per ragioni pratiche di esecuzione, l'editore Markus M\u00f6llenbeck ha rinunciato alle diteggiature e agli archi. Le parti combinate solista\/continuo sono un grande vantaggio.
