Anzi, in questo caso si dovrebbe parlare addirittura di pi\u00f9 case: Kassel, Basilea, Londra, New York e Praga sono i nomi delle varie sedi. Nel campo della musica per pianoforte, in particolare, il numero di nuove pubblicazioni degli ultimi anni \u00e8 quasi imperdibile: molto repertorio standard, ma anche opere meno eseguite (Faur\u00e9) o addirittura rarit\u00e0 (tutte le opere pianistiche di Vierne). Anche i pezzi a quattro mani non sono trascurati. Ad esempio, una splendida versione del <em>Moldavia<\/em> pubblicato di proprio pugno da Smetana (BA 9549).<\/p>\n<p>Con una produzione cos\u00ec varia e ricca, non sorprende che le richieste e i risultati non siano sempre ugualmente convincenti. La nuova edizione del primo volume di Debussy delle <em>Preludi<\/em> Anche l'esauriente Commento Critico non ha nulla da eccepire e i commenti dettagliati sui singoli brani e l'interpretazione di Thomas Kabisch meritano di essere letti.<\/p>\n<p>Molto gradite sono anche le \"Note sulla diteggiatura\" e i \"12 studi di diteggiatura\" di Martin Widmaier, che si propongono di affrontare problemi specifici dei rispettivi preludi. Purtroppo questo non vale per le diteggiature vere e proprie. Spesso sono inutilmente complicate - nonostante la tolleranza per il diverso e il non familiare - e a volte addirittura assurde. Basta dare un'occhiata all'inizio di <em>Voci<\/em> o <em>La ragazza con i guanti di lino <\/em>su. Molto spesso Widmaier sembra non fidarsi dell'istinto pianistico di Debussy per il suono e distribuisce gli accordi in modo diverso tra le due mani, con il risultato che tutto \u00e8 semplicemente pi\u00f9 difficile da afferrare. Soprattutto, per\u00f2, questo produce un suono completamente diverso da quello che il compositore intendeva. Questo \u00e8 particolarmente vero per gli interventi in <em>La cattedrale inglese<\/em> (bar 84 e simili!).<\/p>\n<p>Forse, in questo contesto, si sarebbe dovuto seguire lo stesso Debussy, che nella propria <em>Studi <\/em>aveva deliberatamente rinunciato alle indicazioni di diteggiatura. Era convinto che fosse molto meglio cercare le diteggiature da soli.
