Nato nell'anno della sua morte, fin da piccolo era destinato a diventare un musicista e nella sua citt\u00e0 natale, Vienna, ricevette lezioni di composizione e di strumento da Johann Nepomuk Hummel, Antonio Salieri e Johann Georg Albrechtsberger, tra gli altri. Per tutta la vita, Franz Xaver Wolfgang Mozart compare nei documenti ufficiali solo con il nome di \"W. A. Mozart Sohn\". Le esigenze legate a questo nome e il costante confronto con il padre lo portarono a dubitare di se stesso. All'et\u00e0 di vent'anni, entr\u00f2 al servizio di varie famiglie aristocratiche della capitale galiziana di Leopoli come insegnante di pianoforte e si esib\u00ec come pianista e direttore d'orchestra. Scrisse varie composizioni per l'appena fondato \"Dilettanten-Concerte\", tra cui forse questa. <em>Variazioni per fortep: e flageolet sulla marcia da Aline<\/em>un'opera di Henri-Montan Berton che ha debuttato a Parigi nel 1803.<\/p>\n<p>All'inizio del XIX secolo, il flageolet, simile al flauto dolce, divenne sempre pi\u00f9 popolare e si manifest\u00f2 in varie forme, ad esempio come flageolet inglese o francese. Non \u00e8 possibile stabilire da quale tipo Mozart stesse lavorando, ma dato che la partitura richiede uno strumento in posizione quadrupla, si suggerisce una versione per flauto dolce soprano. Il pianoforte e il flauto dolce entrano in dialogo e assumono alternativamente la parte principale. Come il tema di fondo di <em>Aline<\/em> le piacevoli variazioni rinunciano anche a momenti di shock eccessivamente melodici o armonici.<\/p>\n<p>\u00c8 richiesto un livello intermedio di esecuzione; solo le dinamiche richieste e i problemi di intonazione associati devono essere tecnicamente padroneggiati dall'esecutore.
