Foto: zVg<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<div class=\"text-section\">\n<p>Se si parla di romanticismo musicale, il clarinetto non \u00e8 molto lontano. Il suo tono morbido e corposo ha qualcosa di esuberante, di lussureggiantemente romantico. Lo rivela anche il nuovo CD del versatile clarinettista Bernhard R\u00f6thlisberger, pubblicato dall'etichetta Naxos Musiques Suisses. <em>Musica da camera svizzera - Romantici di due secoli<\/em> presentato.<\/p>\n<p>Questa \u00e8 la seconda registrazione che R\u00f6thlisberger ha affrontato durante l'estenuante serrata del 2020. La sua ricerca per il progetto <em>Musica per clarinetto svizzera <\/em>(Naxos Musiques Suisses NXMS 7002, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.musikzeitung.ch\/de\/rezensionen\/tontraeger\/2021\/04\/swiss-clarinet\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>SMZ<\/em> 4\/2021, S. 16<\/a>) ha portato alla luce anche altre partiture che quasi nessuno conosce. Cinque di queste opere, composte da Johann Carl Eschmann (1826-1882), Paul Juon (1872-1940), Richard Flury (1896-1967) e Paul M\u00fcller Zurich (1898-1993), possono ora essere ascoltate qui.<\/p>\n<p>Non solo la selezione \u00e8 sorprendente nella sua sostanza musicale, ma i quattro interpreti trovano anche un'interpretazione impegnata e distinta di queste trouvailles di musica da camera. La violinista Fi\u00f3na Kraege \u00e8 secondo concertatore dell'Orchestra Sinfonica di Lucerna, la violoncellista Milena Umiglia \u00e8 stata l'unica rappresentante svizzera nella Gustav Mahler Youth Orchestra nel 2017 e il pianista Benjamin Engeli ha vinto una volta il Concorso musicale ARD di Monaco come membro del Trio Tecchler.<\/p>\n<p>Il brano pi\u00f9 antico di questa registrazione \u00e8 stato scritto nel 1850-51, composto dalla <em>Due pezzi fantasy<\/em> op. 9 per clarinetto e pianoforte di Johann Carl Eschmann, nato a Winterthur. Aveva studiato con Mendelssohn a Lipsia ed era amico di Wagner e Brahms. Fu anche una figura molto nota nella vita musicale di Zurigo, ma fu rapidamente dimenticato dopo la sua morte. Oggi, di tanto in tanto, si sente di nuovo parlare di Eschmann; la casa editrice Amadeus lo inserisce nel suo programma. E ogni volta ci sorprende con la sua raffinatezza tecnica e i suoi gesti avvincenti. \u00c8 possibile percepire la gioia musicale quando R\u00f6thlisberger ed Engeli eseguono i suoi pezzi originali.<\/p>\n<p>Il Trio in la minore op. 17 del moscovita Paul Juon, originario dei Grigioni, \u00e8 il brano pi\u00f9 corposo di questo CD e dura quasi 24 minuti. Juon sa intrecciare in modo delizioso i colori tonali del clarinetto e del violoncello, mentre i tre interpreti plasmano con maestria il fraseggio ampio e disteso. Il trio di Richard Flury, scritto 50 anni dopo, invece, enfatizza il lato pi\u00f9 popolare e allegro del clarinetto, con una verve da ballo.
