Foto: Hans Joerg Zumsteg<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<div class=\"text-section\">\n<p>Il Medioevo aveva le proprie idee sull'uomo e sugli animali. Nel nuovo CD <em>Il canto delle bestie<\/em> L'ensemble Dragma di Basilea ospita creature di ogni tipo: uccelli canori, draghi, topi e unicorni. Sono raffigurati in modo colorato nei \"bestiari\" medievali, preziosi libri in pergamena in cui le creature mitiche sono descritte in modo dettagliato. Sono conservati in importanti archivi come la British Library di Londra o la Biblioth\u00e8que National di Parigi.<\/p>\n<p>Le creature colorate e decorate hanno un'enorme forza espressiva. Per questo vengono mostrate e delicatamente animate in un filmato creato appositamente per questo progetto. - Il link esclusivo al filmato \u00e8 stampato sul CD. Questo video si sposa perfettamente con le canzoni che l'ensemble Dragma ha raccolto dalle biblioteche di Firenze, Lucca, Chantilly e Parigi: un affascinante zoo musicale pieno di poesia.<\/p>\n<p>Le canzoni sono raggruppate in base alle diverse specie animali: \"Von Singv\u00f6geln aller Art\", \"H\u00f6r mich br\u00fcllen\" o \"Viper, Skorpion &amp; Basilisk\". Tuttavia, le descrizioni medievali delle creature sono piene di simbolismo religioso e politico, e i testi sono di conseguenza enigmatici e poetici. I testi possono essere decifrati nella traduzione inglese del libretto e nel film alcuni di essi sono pronunciati anche in un particolare medio-alto tedesco.<\/p>\n<p>Il fatto che l'ensemble Dragma sia composto da tre illustri conoscitori della prassi esecutiva medievale \u00e8 immediatamente evidente. Essi rivelano una passione vivace e ritmicamente agile per il fare musica in questi mondi animali. Agnieszka Budzi\u0144ska-Bennet, che di tanto in tanto si dedica anche all'arpa, canta con voce morbida e ben focalizzata e ritrae queste creature mitiche in modo molto vivido.<\/p>\n<p>\u00c8 accompagnata con attenzione da Jane Achtman al violino, proprio come se stesse cantando una seconda parte vocale. Il terzo membro dell'ensemble, Marc Lewon, fornisce un'agile grazia al liuto. Lewon appare anche come narratore e cantante: per esempio nel madrigale <em>Fenice fu <\/em>di Jacopo da Bologna, in cui una donna racconta la sua trasformazione da fenice a tortora. Budzi\u0144ska e Lewon cantano questo duetto in modo potente e commovente.<\/p>\n<p>Nel capitolo \"Von Flederm\u00e4usen und M\u00e4usen\" (Di pipistrelli e topi), si pu\u00f2 godere dell'umorismo grossolano del Medioevo. Il pezzo in tre parti sul topo \u00e8 interpretato con arguzia dai tre interpreti. Il topo \u00e8 infelice e affamato e vuole una salsiccia o un grasso cappone per cena. Tuttavia, la descrizione del suo pasto effettivo \u00e8 piuttosto deprimente: pane integrale, ravanelli e fave.
