Foto: zvg<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<div class=\"text-section\">\n<p>Le circostanze difficili aumentano la fame di espressione artistica? Nel 1941, in un campo di prigionia vicino a G\u00f6rlitz, centinaia di detenuti ascoltavano incantati un quartetto formato da compagni di prigionia. Uno di loro era Olivier Messiaen. La prima del brano nato dalla sua penna, l'opera <em>Quatour pour la fin du temps,<\/em> \u00e8 oggi considerata una delle opere di musica da camera pi\u00f9 influenti del XX secolo.<\/p>\n<p>Fabio Di C\u00e0sola (clarinetto), Kamilla Schatz (violino), Pi-Chin Chien (violoncello) e Benjamin Engeli (pianoforte) sono stati ispirati da questa prima mondiale in condizioni estreme e hanno registrato questa composizione senza precedenti nel loro secondo CD. Il risultato pu\u00f2 essere considerato un punto di riferimento. L'approccio chiaramente definito del Quartetto di Zurigo permette di sperimentare da vicino il mondo di idee di Messiaen, a volte in modo opprimente e diretto: un massimo di colori eccitanti \u00e8 tratto dall'uso eccessivo di scale modali e armonie a grappolo. Non mancano occasionali sprazzi della caratteristica retorica strumentale che Messiaen ha appreso dal canto degli uccelli. Gli elementi delle culture musicali del mondo sono abilmente utilizzati per la sua causa: basti pensare alle numerose scale modali suonate all'unisono, come le conosciamo dalla musica indiana e come le usano molti jazzisti dagli anni Sessanta.<\/p>\n<p>Sembra cos\u00ec privo di peso ed evidente il modo in cui questi esecutori tracciano con insistenza ogni sfumatura, per quanto delicatamente ramificata - che si tratti di glissandi armonici finemente cesellati nei registri pi\u00f9 alti o di ampie linee melodiche nel violoncello o nel clarinetto. E il modo in cui alcune melodie \"infinite\" dispiegano il proprio respiro nelle lunghe parti solistiche attraverso un vibrato accuratamente dosato \u00e8 meraviglioso. Il Quartetto dalla fine del tempo riflette stati di forte ambivalenza. Questa \u00e8 l'intenzione della partitura, e cos\u00ec l'esecuzione, oltre a estese linee meditative, presenta anche esplosioni regolarmente ricorrenti di energia opprimente.<\/p>\n<p>Questo importante punto del programma \u00e8 \"preceduto\" da due composizioni contemporanee presenti in questo CD. La composizione di Fabian M\u00fcller esplora le zone di confine, estremamente umoristiche, tra parola, canzone e musica strumentale. <em>In principio - Tre tentativi di inventare il mondo<\/em> fuori.
