La giuria, presieduta dal compositore Detlef Glanert, li ha selezionati per una borsa di studio per la composizione di nuove opere di teatro musicale.<\/p>\n<p>Dal 2006 al 2010 Josep Planells Schiaffino ha studiato clarinetto con Jos\u00e9 Cerver\u00f3 presso il Conservatorio Superior de M\u00fasica della sua citt\u00e0 natale, Valencia, diplomandosi in clarinetto. Dal 2010 al 2014 ha studiato composizione con Arnulf Herrmann presso la Hanns Eisler School of Music di Berlino, dove ha completato il master con Hanspeter Kyburz.<\/p>\n<p>Nel 2017 ha partecipato a masterclass di direzione d'orchestra presso la Lucerne Festival Academy con Heinz Holliger e Matthias Pintscher, e nel 2015 e 2016 anche con Peter E\u00f6tv\u00f6s, Helmut Lachenmann e Peter Rundel. Josep Planells ha gi\u00e0 ricevuto numerosi premi e commissioni, tra cui quelli per Les Vents Fran\u00e7ais e Eric Le Sage, nonch\u00e9 il Roche Young Commissions 2019 del Festival di Lucerna.
