Foto: zvg<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<div class=\"text-section\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"text-section\">\n<p>Quando Karl K\u00f6hl, cittadino onorario di Coira, mor\u00ec nel 1919, il necrologio nel <em>Neue B\u00fcndner Zeitung<\/em> come \"centro spirituale dell'intera vita musicale\" della citt\u00e0. Nacque nel 1855 a Odessa (Ucraina), dove i suoi genitori erano emigrati da Berg\u00fcn. Perse la vista poche settimane dopo la nascita e la madre mor\u00ec quando aveva due anni. Nel 1862 la famiglia si trasfer\u00ec a Coira, dove K\u00f6hl frequent\u00f2 la scuola. Studi\u00f2 poi organo al conservatorio di Stoccarda nella classe di Immanuel Faisst. Tornato a Coira, lavor\u00f2 per 42 anni come organista e direttore di coro, come organizzatore di concerti e, soprattutto, come compositore; una personalit\u00e0 allegra nonostante i pesanti colpi del destino.<\/p>\n<p>Il pianista Carlo K\u00f6hl, pronipote del compositore, si \u00e8 impegnato a pubblicare questo CD con uno spaccato delle opere canore e pianistiche di K\u00f6hl. Le dodici canzoni e i duetti, di genere pi\u00f9 classico che romantico, sono interpretati con leggerezza e freschezza dalle giovani voci di Jeannine Camenzind, soprano, e Mattias M\u00fcller-Arpagaus, baritono. Dalla raccolta di opere per pianoforte, Carlo K\u00f6hl interpreta con la stessa fine sensibilit\u00e0 degli accompagnamenti delle canzoni tre pezzi di carattere, che non nascondono la loro vicinanza a Schubert e Schumann, soprattutto nella scelta di un titolo come <em>Momento musicale<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Sorprendentemente, lo stesso Karl K\u00f6hl \u00e8 presente nella registrazione come esecutore. Guilmanti <em>Marcia su tema di H\u00e4ndel<\/em>Le variazioni di Hesse su <em>Dio salvi il Re<\/em> op. 67 e la seconda sonata per organo di Mendelssohn sono state registrate da lui stesso su rulli Welte e suonate per il CD sull'\"Organo Britannico\" del Museo degli Automi Musicali di Seewen. Si sente un organista che suona con precisione ma con estrema attenzione, il che non sorprende vista la situazione di registrazione dell'epoca.<\/p>\n<p>Una produzione molto interessante, soprattutto dal punto di vista storico, la cui copertina \u00e8 ornata da un ritratto del compositore realizzato dalla mano di Albert Anker.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"text-section\">\n<dl class=\"picture media photo pos-2\">\n<dt><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"media photo pos-2 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.musikzeitung.ch\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/CD-1.jpg\" alt=\"Image \" \/><\/dt>\n<\/dl>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"text-section\">\n<p><em>Karl K\u00f6hl.
