Foto: Breitkopf &amp; H\u00e4rtel<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<div class=\"text-section\">\n<p>\u00c8 raro che vengano annunciate opere orchestrali di compositori svizzeri; l'odore di epigonismo, di romanticismo e classicismo fuori dal tempo, incombe troppo su di esse. La registrazione di opere di Othmar Schoeck, Ernst Widmer e Adolf Brunner presentata dalla Royal Scottish National Orchestra sotto la guida del direttore svizzero Rainer Held su Guild non pu\u00f2 rimediare a questo \"difetto\". Ma \u00e8 comunque un piacere da ascoltare.<\/p>\n<p>Si sa gi\u00e0 cosa aspettarsi da Schoeck (1886-1957) prima di ascoltare l'opera. <em>Inno festivo<\/em> op. 64 e il <em>Ouverture a William Ratcliff <\/em>op. 29, che vengono presentati in prima registrazione mondiale. Le opere, scritte nel 1950 e nel 1908, sono caratterizzate da uno stile tardo-romantico, da momenti a volte decisamente \"appetibili\", da gesti patetici e da un trattamento dell'orchestra che - soprattutto nel brano <em>Ouverture <\/em>- \u00e8 fortemente orientato verso Liszt. Tuttavia, vale sicuramente la pena di ascoltarlo, soprattutto perch\u00e9 gli esecutori si impegnano a fondo in questa musica.<\/p>\n<p>Rainer Held, che si \u00e8 fatto un nome come direttore d'orchestra e di coro, sembra predestinato a questa musica piena di dramma e di melodie da inno. Al contrario, il <em>Concerto per pianoforte, percussioni e orchestra<\/em> op. 160 di Ernst Widmer (1927-1990), emigrato in Brasile, \u00e8 fortemente ritmato. L'opera \u00e8 stata eseguita in prima assoluta a Zurigo nel 1988 con Emmy Henz-Di\u00e9mand al pianoforte e Michel Tabachnik. In questa registrazione, tuttavia, non ha la spinta di allora. Ci\u00f2 pu\u00f2 essere dovuto alla pianista Fali Pavri, che non raggiunge la presa percussiva di Emmy Henz, grande sostenitrice di Widmer. Oltre ad alcuni momenti accattivanti, l'opera \u00e8 anche un po' eterogenea e a volte lunga.<\/p>\n<p>Adolf Brunner (1901-1992) apparteneva a una generazione di compositori svizzeri fortemente inclini al neoclassicismo e componeva regolarmente per le orchestre da camera che stavano nascendo in quel periodo. Tanto pi\u00f9 sorprendente \u00e8 l'opera qui registrata <em>Partita per pianoforte e orchestra<\/em> (1938\/1939), che, impegnato nella tonalit\u00e0, trova ripetutamente la strada dei grandi gesti accanto a passaggi tipicamente classici. Come nota Chris Walton in un testo informativo del libretto, a volte ricorda Brahms.<\/p>\n<p>Nel complesso, si tratta di una trouvaille emozionante, interpretata in modo accattivante.<\/p>\n<div class=\"text-section\">\n<dl class=\"picture media photo\">\n<dt><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"media photo aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/old.musikzeitung.ch\/imaging\/stk\/musikzeitung\/article-image-left\/website\/de\/rezensionen\/tontraeger\/2014\/11\/schoeck\/content\/01\/imageBinary\/So.jpg\" alt=\"Image \" \/><\/dt>\n<\/dl>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"text-section\">\n<p><em>Capolavori orchestrali dalla Svizzera: Schoeck, Widmer, Brunner.
