Andrew Lee. Foto: zvg<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<div class=\"text-section\">\n<p>I bravi musicisti sanno che le esecuzioni veloci o gli enormi salti di accordi non sono difficili. Ci\u00f2 che \u00e8 difficile \u00e8 essere discreti e non invadenti. J\u00fcrg Frey di Argovia coltiva entrambe le cose. I suoi suoni, accuratamente selezionati, sembrano prendere vita propria senza alcun intervento importante da parte del compositore. Il suono \u00e8 molto astratto, forse persino sterile per alcune orecchie. Ma una volta coinvolti, una volta seduti con delle buone cuffie e un bicchiere di whisky, come raccomanda l'autore del libretto William Robin, sarete ricompensati con l'arte pi\u00f9 alta e simpatica.<\/p>\n<p>I due brani occupano poco pi\u00f9 di un'ora. \u00c8 noto fin da Henri Bergson che il tempo \u00e8 relativo. Quando Frey, nel suo <em>Pezzo per pianoforte 2<\/em> riempie il tempo con la ripetizione di una quarta sotto forma di 468 battiti, allora suona tanto poco d'avanguardia quanto di eventi speciali. Ma ci\u00f2 che \u00e8 speciale accade nella mente. Karlheinz Stockhausen e Bernd Alois Zimmermann hanno affrontato le questioni del tempo in modo molto teorico. Frey lo fa a modo suo. Non dogmatico, diretto, altamente focalizzato, il tempo si ferma. Il continuo andare e venire, suonare e svanire \u00e8 in definitiva arte compositiva e psicologica.<\/p>\n<p>J\u00fcrg Frey ha trovato un partner congeniale nel pianista R. Andrew Lee. Egli combina la massima sensibilit\u00e0 del suono con il necessario equilibrio tra libert\u00e0 e controllo. Questo CD, con un eccellente libretto (in inglese) e una copertina che si adatta meravigliosamente alla musica, \u00e8 consigliato a chiunque abbia delle buone cuffie.
