Foto: Benno Hunziker<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<div class=\"text-section\">\n<p>Sin dagli inizi, nel 1995, il <a href=\"https:\/\/martinu.ch\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Festival Martin\u016f<\/a> si \u00e8 affermata come parte integrante della vita musicale di Basilea. L'impegno principale \u00e8 quello di coltivare e diffondere la vasta e variegata opera di Bohuslav Martin\u016f, che dal 1956 visse come ospite di Paul Sacher sullo Sch\u00f6nenberg di Pratteln, vicino a Basilea, prima di morire a Liestal nel 1959. Sotto la direzione artistica del pianista <a href=\"http:\/\/www.kolinsky.ch\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Robert Kolinsky<\/a> \u00e8 riuscito ad attirare al festival artisti di fama con il suo programma variegato e fuori dai sentieri battuti. Sono probabilmente queste due qualit\u00e0 costantemente perseguite che hanno conferito al festival una reputazione che va ben oltre Basilea negli ultimi anni, come dimostra anche il patrocinio onorario di alto livello del Consigliere federale Alain Berset e della Presidente slovacca Zuzana \u010caputov\u00e1.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"text-section\">\n<dl class=\"picture media photo large\">\n<dt>\n<figure style=\"width: 554px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"media photo large\" src=\"https:\/\/www.musikzeitung.ch\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/mf2.jpg\" alt=\"Image \" width=\"554\" height=\"369\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-caption-text\">La Z\u00fcrcher Sing-Akademie insieme al Coro della Radio Ucraina nella Kulturkirche Paulus di Basilea<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/dt>\n<dd class=\"copyright\"><\/dd>\n<dd class=\"caption\"><\/dd>\n<\/dl>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<h3 class=\"\">Miloslav Kabel\u00e1\u010d al centro della scena<\/h3>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"text-section\">\n<dl class=\"picture media photo\">\n<dt>\n<figure style=\"width: 180px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"media photo\" src=\"https:\/\/www.musikzeitung.ch\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/mf3-2.jpg\" alt=\"Image \" width=\"180\" height=\"240\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-caption-text\">Organista Sebastian Heindl<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/dt>\n<dd class=\"caption\"><\/dd>\n<\/dl>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"text-section\">\n<p>Un emozionante contrappunto a Martin\u016f nel programma di quest'anno \u00e8 stato il lavoro del compositore e direttore d'orchestra Miloslav Kabel\u00e1\u010d (1908-1979), che probabilmente \u00e8 poco conosciuto in questo paese al di fuori dei circoli di intenditori. Il pezzo centrale del concerto inaugurale del 23 ottobre nella <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kulturkirche-paulus.ch\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Chiesa di San Paolo della Cultura<\/a> \u00e8 stata la sua ottava sinfonia <em>Antifone<\/em> op. 54 per soprano, coro misto, strumenti a percussione e organo. Composta tra il 1969 e il 1970 su testi dell'Antico Testamento, \u00e8 una reazione accusatoria all'invasione della Cecoslovacchia da parte delle truppe del Patto di Varsavia nel 1968 e alla soppressione degli sforzi riformatori della Primavera di Praga. L'opera, divisa in cinque movimenti e quattro interludi, \u00e8 caratterizzata da un linguaggio tonale aspro ed esteso, da forti impulsi ritmici e da estremi dinamici. L'esecuzione della parte del soprano, estremamente impegnativa, da parte di <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/AphroditePatoulidou\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Afrodite Patoulidou<\/a>; impressionante per precisione e presenza la realizzazione delle parti di percussione da parte dei membri del gruppo. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.percussionsdestrasbourg.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Percussioni di Strasburgo<\/a>lo stesso ensemble che ha eseguito la prima mondiale a Strasburgo nel 1971. L'incontro tra l'ensemble <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sing-akademie.ch\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Accademia di canto di Zurigo<\/a> e il Coro della Radio Ucraina - la cui presenza conferiva al tema un'attualit\u00e0 opprimente - sono riusciti in questo caso ad avere la stessa brillantezza che nel film di Martin\u016f <em>Quattro canzoni su Maria<\/em> per coro misto H 235 e <em>La montagna delle tre luci<\/em> per coro maschile e organo H 349. Anche l'organista tedesco ha brillato in questa serata <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sebastianheindl.de\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Sebastian Heindl<\/a> in Kabel\u00e1\u010ds <em>Due fantasie<\/em> op. 32 e l'opera di Martin\u016f <em>Veglia <\/em>H 382. La trasparenza e la ricchezza di colori che l'organista, nato nel 1997 e pi\u00f9 giovane finalista del rinomato Longwood Gardens Organ Competition nel 2019, nominato a luglio musicista di chiesa della Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church di Berlino, ha saputo presentare e illuminare sull'organo della Pauluskirche, idealmente attrezzato per il repertorio del XIX e XX secolo, \u00e8 stata a dir poco sensazionale.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"text-section\">\n<dl class=\"picture media photo large\">\n<dt>\n<figure style=\"width: 554px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"media photo large\" src=\"https:\/\/www.musikzeitung.ch\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/mf4.jpg\" alt=\"Image \" width=\"554\" height=\"369\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-caption-text\">Il soprano Afrodite Patoulidou ha brillato nelle \"Antifone\" di Miloslav Kabel\u00e1\u010d<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/dt>\n<dd class=\"caption\"><\/dd>\n<\/dl>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<h3 class=\"\">Dalla fata al film<\/h3>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"text-section\">\n<p>Oltre a un concerto con grandi ensemble, il Festival Martin\u016f include tradizionalmente un concerto di musica da camera, un evento cinematografico, un concerto jazz e un concerto per famiglie. Quest'ultimo, ispirato alla fiaba <em>B\u011btu\u0161ka e la fata del bosco<\/em> (Bo\u017eena N\u0115mcov\u00e1 ), scoprire un lato diverso di Kabel\u00e1\u010d; il programma includeva <em>D\u011btem<\/em> op. 22 (Piccola suite orchestrale per bambini) la suite <em>Modr\u00e9 Nebe <\/em>(Blauer Himmel) op. 19a per coro di bambini e orchestra, opere da camera di Martin\u016f (Nonet n. 2 H 374 e Serenade n. 3 H 218) e i Kinderlieder H 184bis (esecutori: Ensemble le raid merveilleux, bambini della scuola elementare e orchestrale Insel; Stefano Mariani, direttore musicale). Il concerto jazz del 30 ottobre al Bird's Eye (Martina Barta, voce; Matti Klein, pianoforte; Niklas Lukassen, basso; Genius Wesley, batteria) \u00e8 stato dedicato al lavoro del leggendario compositore di canzoni Burt Bacharach (nato nel 1928), che fu in tourn\u00e9e con Marlene Dietrich negli anni Cinquanta e studi\u00f2, tra gli altri, con Martin\u016f. La biografia di Martin\u016f \u00e8 stata al centro del film proiettato allo Stadtkino di Basilea il 1\u00b0 novembre. <em>La mia vita con Bohuslav Martin\u016f<\/em> (Direttore: Jakub Sommer).<\/p>\n<p>Infine, il concerto da camera del 6 novembre nella Hans-Huber-Saal con Steven Isserlis, violoncello, e Connie Shih, pianoforte, ha presentato due scoperte: la prima mondiale dell'opera manoscritta di Kabel\u00e1\u010d <em>Tre pezzi <\/em>per violoncello solo e il <em>Deux ritournelles pour violoncelle et piano<\/em> op. 25 della talentuosa compositrice, direttrice d'orchestra e allieva di Martin\u016f V\u00edt\u011bzslava Kapr\u00e1lov\u00e1 (1915-1940), morta giovane.
