Secondo il direttore generale del DOV Gerald Mertens, un risultato particolarmente piacevole e sorprendente dello studio \u00e8 che le persone di et\u00e0 compresa tra i 20 e i 29 anni vanno ai concerti ancora pi\u00f9 spesso (78,7%) di quelle di et\u00e0 compresa tra i 50 e i 59 anni (60,7%). Sembra che la massiccia espansione dell'educazione musicale da parte di orchestre e sale da concerto negli ultimi 15 anni stia cominciando a dare i suoi frutti.<\/p>\n

Il lavoro pluridecennale delle scuole di musica si riflette evidentemente anche qui. Secondo Mertens, non si pu\u00f2 pi\u00f9 parlare seriamente del tanto pubblicizzato invecchiamento del pubblico della musica classica o addirittura della morte della musica classica.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Mertens afferma: \"Il pubblico giovane della musica classica \u00e8 diverso da quello pi\u00f9 anziano. Questo pone nuove sfide alle orchestre e alle sale da concerto per sfruttare il potenziale di sviluppo delle giovani generazioni attraverso offerte concertistiche innovative, una rottura mirata con i formati tradizionali e un marketing contemporaneo.\"\u00a0<\/p>\n

L'Associazione delle orchestre tedesche (DOV) accoglie con favore i risultati del \"Concerti Classical Music Study 2016\". Contrariamente alle ipotesi e agli studi precedenti, il nuovo studio dimostra, tra le altre cose, che la musica classica ha un potenziale molto elevato, soprattutto tra i pi\u00f9 giovani.<\/p>\n
